The exhibition and closing ceremony for the “Preservation of the Rebana Kercing of Kampung Laut, Kelantan” project which will be held on:

DATE : 4th Januari 2023 (wednesday)

VENUE: Dewan Tuanku Canselor, Universiti Malaysia Kelantan, Bachok, Kelantan

TIME : 1.30 PM – 4.00 PM

EXHIBITION: 8.30 AM – 4.30 PM

The closing ceremony will be officiated by His Excellency the United States Ambassador to Malaysia, Brian D. McFeeters.

Let’s come and watch the performance of Rebana Kercing from Kampung Laut, Kelantan State Department of Culture and Arts, UMK students as well as primary school students during ceremony.

Meeting with Kelantan State Education Department for Rebana Kercing Program & Training plans

Meeting

A visit to Kelantan State Education Department on the discussion of conducting program & training relating to Rebana Kercing for school students in Kelantan.

The delegacy was led by AP Dr. Ng Siew Foen (Head of Project).

Official visits to few schools in Kelantan such as Sk zainab 1, Sk badak, Sk dato hashim1, Sk kg laut and Sk machang 1 also were made. The objective of visit is to plan on conducting training and programs relating to Rebana Kercing.

Activities

Introduced to our guest from University of Hawai’i, Prof Chapman to the beauty of UMK Bachok Campus ✨ Must visit hotspots such as American Corners at Library, Chancellory Gallery & UMK Teniat.

Prof Dr. William Chapman from University of Hawai’i also visited the office of Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Razli and Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research & Innovation), Prof. Dr. Arham at UMK Bachok Campus.
