Rebana Kercing UMK
A visit to Kelantan State Education Department on the discussion of conducting program & training relating to Rebana Kercing for school students in Kelantan.
The delegacy was led by AP Dr. Ng Siew Foen (Head of Project).
Official visits to few schools in Kelantan such as Sk zainab 1, Sk badak, Sk dato hashim1, Sk kg laut and Sk machang 1 also were made. The objective of visit is to plan on conducting training and programs relating to Rebana Kercing.
On 5th August 2022, fruitful discussion with RTM was conducted pertaining to airing Rebana Kercing documentary. The delegacy was led by Head of Project, Prof. Dr. Nik Maheran Bin Nik Muhammad.
13 July 2022- MOU Collaboration discussion session between Prof William Chapman with Dean of FAE and FTKW, chaired by Associate Prof Dr. Ng Siew Foen, Director of International Office UMK, also as Head of Project.
06 July 2022 Wednesday – Program planning meeting and final briefing for Prof Chapman’s visit program to UMK on 11-14 July 2022, chaired by Dr Nurul (Head of Event Cluster). This program also will involve the participation from Faculty of Architecture and Ekistics (FAE) & Faculty of Creative Technology & Heritage (FTKW) UMK.

A follow-up progress meeting is chaired by Head of Project, PM Dr Ng Siew Foen with Head of Cluster Event Management, Dr Nurul Akmar on the discussion regarding the special visit by Prof Chapman, Dean of Architecture, University of Hawai to UMK in July.
The meeting also attended by Cluster Event teams and the representatives from FAE & FTKW.
15 JUNE 2022: A kick-off meeting was conducted by the cluster event team for initial discussion on coming program in July. The meeting is chaired by Head of team, Dr. Nurul Akmar.
